Berona’s War is an in-progress, short film based off the graphic novel Berona’s Hundred Year War. A fledgling and naive fighter is captured when his village is ambushed and set ablaze by the ferocious and marauding Cropone. Forced into enslavement, his captors are both brutal and loving; though he is Ele-Alta. As he becomes the most skilled warrior in the Cropone village, he is freed in a heroic and self-defining act. His future is his to pursue as he is torn between the path of revenge and forgiveness.
